What's On Your Wrist Wednesday: Michael Kors

Michael Kors watches has rapidly become one of the most profitable and lucrative ventures that the company has made concerning accessories.  Popular and in demand, Kors' watches are becoming iconic not only among the Hollywood crowd but also among the average person because of their affordable price.  Today we are going to look at one of his newest women's watch, the "MK5237".

The MK5237 is not your average watch.  Kors has pioneered the use of ceramic rather than steel, plastic, leather and rubber for their watches giving it a very lightweight, yet rigid and sturdy feel.  Ceramic watches has become the new trend among watches for the flexibility is offers designers with colors and design.  It is also much more durable than many of the rubber/plastic mixed bands than Kors and many other brands have offered as rubber tends to get dirty and also can be damaged easier.

This particular watch has a 32mm case which makes a statement but is not overpowering like watches such as a women's Breitling may be.  The case is made of stainless steel which gives the watch some weight to remind you it is still there yet doesn't make your wrist tired like many heavier watches would. This watch being a chronograph has many features such as date, month and hour marker.  Although the bezel looks like it is diamond, it is in fact CZ which looks great yet keeps the prices affordable. Overall, this is a great, affordable watch on most budgets yet it looks like it cost a fortune.  You can't go wrong with this one ladies.
This watch retails for around $495 but can be picked up in select spots for around $299

What's On Your Wrist Wednesday: Audemars Piguet

Made it in life? Want everyone to know it? The AP Royal Oak is a great way to show it.  The self winding, swiss movement chronograph is great way to express that you have class and style.  This style comes at a price though with a STARTING price of just under $20k and can reach upwards to $250k.  The model shown above has a stick price of $224,200. One hell of a bargain if you ask me..

Drink of the Week: Bartenura Moscato

Moscato is probably one of the best tasting, sweetest white wines a person could drink. It has been gaining popularity because of its smooth and almost juice-like taste.

Today we are reviewing: Bartenura Moscato
5% Alc. by Volume

I Sat down and drank a couple glasses of this with Point Break's VP of Operations, Dan, and we were not disappointed at all.

Bartenura Moscato has a very rich grape taste to it that makes it the perfect apertif. If I had to recommend one type of Moscato, this would be it. It is very versatile and is a perfect to bring to a dinner or house party. The rich aroma it gives off is also distinguished and prominent compared to other types. Overall, compared to others I would say it ranks a 9.0 out of 10.

Even Rick Ross and Drake like it. And at only $12.99 a bottle, who wouldn't???

Jay-Z, Kanye West - Otis ft. Otis Reading

Probably one of the craziest music vids of the year.  The guys are rocking Hublot, our featured watch this weak as well as riding around town in one of the sickest looking custom Maybachs around.  Take a look for yourself.  And of course... Otis Reading was a great touch.

All proceeds from the destroyed luxury car will go to charity. Not that I am sure anyone wants this car. Make it into a dune buggy maybe? I'd do it.

What's On Your Wrist Wednesday

Every Wednesday we will be bringing you some of the world’s finest and nicest watches to show you in what we will call “What’s on your wrist Wednesday”. You can check back every Wednesday where you will be able to read and see pictures of some of the world’s most exclusive and timeless watches.

Today, Point Break Entertainment brings you: HUBLOT

Hublot was founded in 1980 by Carlos Crocco, formerly of Breil Watches. Hublot is named after the French word for “porthole”, hence the almost industrial look that is seen in many of the brand’s designs. Hublot has only two different lines; The Big Bang and Big Bang Limited Edition.

Hublot recently sponsored the world cup soccer matches and in turn, created a beautiful commemorative edition called the HUBLOT FIFA WORLD CUP. It has a gorgeous crocodile band that strikingly accents the gold bezel and face. This example can be seen below. It comes with a price tag of just under $30k.
